General Music

A mixture of theory, history, performance, and technology, General Music at Howell Middle School South is designed to expose every student to the musical world in which they live as well as the pioneers that preceded them. Beginners will attain the tools necessary to dive into the art, while experienced musicians will be challenged and enriched creatively, intellectually, and technologically.

Soundtrap - Like Garageband? Like collaborative software? Like web-based apps that let you work from any device with an internet connection? Check out Soundtrap! Yes, there is a paid subscription to unlock all of the goodies, but you will have access to all of those for free for a month. After that, you can still do quite a lot with the free version. You can use your Google Login for Soundtrap.

You.dj - This one is just fun! This is a virtual DJ deck; using music from Soundcloud and YouTube, users can create instant mashups and record and share the best ones!
