Daily Expectations

1. Students are expected to read 20 minutes every night....7 days a week!!!!!!

2. Students are expected to respond to what they read each night, while they are reading, on 1-2 Post-it notes.

3.  Every Friday one or two entries are due.  Entries should be done in students' reader's notebook and should be written in the entries section. ENTRIES SHOULD NOT BE SUMMARIES. Choose one of the entry ideas from the entry idea list in your notebook or on Schoology or create your own type of entry. 

4.  Students are expected to log (date, time etc) what they read every night.  This does contribute to their grade. 

5.  Students need to bring their independent reading novel (the book they are currently reading) to class each day and home each night. Students have 20 minutes of independent reading time each day.
